2021 FEB 16 (NewsRx) — By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Life Science Weekly — Investigators publish new report on Life Science Research – Beetle Research.

According to news originating from Bogota, Colombia, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Two new distribution records for species of Bruchinae (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) from the Galapagos Islands are reported and discussed: Acanthoscelides machala (Johnson, 1990), and Acanthoscelides macrophthalmus (Schaeffer, 1907).”

Funders for this research include Research Institute of the Escuela Superior Politecnica de Chimborazo (ESPOCH), Riobamba, Ecuador, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogota, Colombia.
