Aeroregional announced that from June 21, 2021 it will fly to Galapagos. This will add an additional airline that offers flights to that destination, in addition to routes that Latam and Avianca have so far.

This airline operates in the domestic market of Ecuador and also has charter flight permits.

Aeroregional was one of the three companies that were assigned part of the frequencies that Tame had in the Galapagos Islands.

The Civil Aviation Council of Ecuador granted frequencies for Aeroregional to fly to Baltra and San Cristóbal, the capital.

On the Quito-Guayaquil-Baltra route, it has five weekly frequencies assigned; and on the Quito-Guayaquil-San Cristóbal route, two weekly frequencies.

Currently, the airline has active regular flights to Quito, Loja and Coca.

And by charter, it flies to countries like Mexico and Panama. Aeroregional has also transferred soccer teams that participate in the Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana tournaments. (I)
