⚠️We have received these exclusive images from local residents of the #Galapagos⚠️
🔴Pollution it is affecting the fauna and the species
🔴The Chinese barrel containing oil can be seen on the right hand side of the first picture was found between the rocks in Tortuga Bay in Santa Cruz Island.
Locals opened the container to fill the tank with plastic bottles found on this particular beach clean up.
The last two pictures belong to another beach clean up, where you can see a endemic crab covered on plastic threats and a hermit crab using a plastic shell.
We condemn this findings and ask for action to our policy makers and government.
